Randal Mitschke

Originating from a “little ole town” called Giddings, TX; Randal is Western Distributing’s service manager and leads our service team. Randal has worked for Western since March of 2020, and schedules deliveries, installations, and service work for our technicians. Basically, he handles the day-to-day task of keeping the service department and all its people running in top form.

Randal’s favorite part of his job is helping “folks.” He has always had an interest in mechanical and technical things, and he loves helping people that have little to no technical knowledge. He enjoys seeing their faces light up when everything just works.

After leaving his “little ole town,” Randal resided in Houston, TX before moving to the great “Snow White” state of North Dakota in 2011. He resided in Minot for ten years, before WDC called him to his new home in Bismarck.

Randal shares he comes from a tight knit family, and they are always watching out for each other. His family affectionately refers to him as “Big Bird” because of his height of, 6’ 6”.

When he’s not working, some of Randal’s interests include camping, hiking, going on vacations to weird and crazy places, trying new restaurants and new food, and the performing arts. If there is a concert, Broadway show or symphony going on, you will often spot him in the audience.
