About Us

Western Distributing Company was founded in April of 1992. Having been in business for over 30 years, Western Distributing is the longest running locally owned distributor in North Dakota, with its home office located in Bismarck, ND.

In the beginning, Western Distributing only sold pull tabs, however the business grew quite large once pull-tab dispensing machines were introduced into the industry. To begin with, Western Distributing only sold three pull tab games and had four charities, but in only a matter of months, Western Distributing was working with numerous charities, and over 100 sites.

After establishing more customers, it was soon realized that there was a need for even more gaming products. Next, Western Distributing introduced bingo paper and daubers, blackjack tables and accessories, and prize boards.

In 2017, Western Distributing Company was responsible for sponsoring the legislation that legalized electronic pull tabs in North Dakota. Western Distributing Company was the only distributor to hire lobbyists to work on behalf of North Dakota Charities and in turn, helped to pioneer the way for electronic pull tabs in the state. It took the gaming division approximately one year to establish the e-tab rules, and in 2019, Western Distributing installed its first electronic pull-tab machine.
